    No, at this moment in time, wedding celebrant services can not make your wedding legal.  Most couples legally get married by a registrar a few days before of after the celebrant service.

    The cost of wedding celebrants vary between £500 - £1500 for different reasons.


    At CWC we charge £500.  This will include:

    : the first main consultation where most of the information will be obtained for your special day

    : the preparation of the service

    : the service itself.  

    : travel expenses within a 30 mile radius from our base in Cheshire (if you are outside of this, any additional costs will be discussed)

    There will be ad hoc correspondence between the couple and the celebrant, checking details etc but this varies from one couple to another.

    25% non-refundable deposit will be taken at the time of booking.  Until this booking is taken, the date is not confirmed.


    The remaining 75% must be paid two weeks prior to your special day.  It is entirely down to yourselves as a couple whether you pay in installments or in one final lump sum.

    This is down to the couple.


    A discussion will take place either in person with the couple or over zoom/skype to explain the day.  If you would like an in-person traditional rehearsal that includes key members of your wedding, this would incur an additional cost and would be discussed prior.

    Your celebrant will be at the venue 45 minutes prior to the start of your service and then until the end of the transition to the next part of your ceremony.
